A few weeks ago I went to Stockholm to the furniture fair with 2 of my office colleagues. Scandic Grand Central invited us to stay in their bloggers Inn room.
As an extra bonus we had a guided tour and an inspiring talk and about the history of the building, the design and interiors of the hotel.

Its located right in the middle of Stockholms theather district, and the building was earlier a print factory – these history facts is used in the decorations of the hotel.

IMG_4910The lobby is very cozy and we felt right at home there – all these soft chairs & couches and the warm dark colours, just makes it easy to feel good. There is lots of activity from guests and locals having meetings or sitting with their macs, which is also nice if you travel alone.

The posterwall was really cool and adding to the theather feeling.

Breakfast buffet in the café with lots of goodies to choose from. We started out healthy with eggs and cucumbers
– but the warm pancakes was too tempting….

All through the hotel the graphics is playing a part in creating a nice young urban atmosphere.

Stealing the idea of lovers padlock collection from urban bridges was cute…

– the room was also kept in the darker warm tones and with graphic posters and photoart special to each room.

The Hotel is located right next to the central train station and is also very close to the Arlanda Express endstation. Find more info here.

Bonus note: You too can apply for the Bloggers Inn at the hotel, if you are a blogger.
